SAP Integration with Project Online – The CS Project Cost App
Last week I had the honor to represent Campana & Schott at the Sapphire Conference and receive the SAP-MICROSOFT Unite Partner Connection Innovation Award. (Link to the news)
After the award ceremony I also invited to speak to a broader audience at one of the main theaters and demoed the app later that day at the Microsoft booth. Good conversations around Office 365, apps and the integration with Project Online led to more ideas and I’m sure this is not the last app we will see in that context.
But what is the app about? It’s designed as an Office app and works seamless with Project Professional. Streaming from Office 365, connect to Project Server and stand-alone as well. For a complete project or single tasks the app shows SAP cost data side-by-side with the schedule, detailed information about WBS elements and the project definition in SAP and provides charts with the information.
